I have no idea why this is getting notes again all of a sudden but it makes me really really happy!!

2012 - Cosplay Year in Review Part 1 - Katniss Everdeen

2012 brought in a whole bunch of new characters that I’d never done before. One of the ones that really was the most influential to the year was Katniss Everdeen. I hadn’t planned on doing katniss. I was actually supposed to do Foxface for our group originally (because my hair was still red then and someone else was doing katniss), but after a friend asked me if I’d be willing to step in to do katniss instead, I jumped on that opportunity! And i’ve loved every minute of costuming her. 2013 already looks to have at least two new katniss costumes, so we’ll see where the year takes me!!

reaping dress is done!!! just needs to be ironed and i’m all set!

and first attempt at styling my wig. not perfect but not horrible! will finish the dress tomorrow. 

80% done. not totally happy with it, but since i procrastinated and i have to have it done by tomorrow night, it’s not horrible. tomorrow i just need to add the buttons, collar, and hem it and then it’s done. and hopefully tomorrow i’ll have power which will make all this easier.
